Advantages of UrAssist's toilet aids for disabled people
Among the variety of toilet aids for disabled people available in the market, none supply full independence and portability like the UrAssist system. UrAssist represents a new generation of toilet aids for disabled people, enabling freedom, convenience and safety at home and on the go.
- UrAssist offers the freedom to maintain an active life to those who are limited by handicaps and rely on toilet aids for disabled people or caregivers.
By providing users with independent access to restrooms – the UrAssist saves the effort, safety and sanitary risks of being transferred from motorized wheelchairs to public lavatories.
- Attachable to motorized wheelchairs, scooters and any disability device – the UrAssist toilet aids for disabled people allow full portability. Unlike traditional toilet aids for disabled people, it adjusts to you – instead of you adjusting to it.
- The UrAssist is located inside a black canvas "businesslike" case - the design is not only discreet but also helps in reducing odors.
- The large capacity of the collection bag eliminates the need to drain the container in the middle of the day or night (and in public restrooms).
- The UrAssist toilet aids for disabled people are completely non-invasive and include a unique fluid pump that reduces moisture on the skin.
The external use and the reduction of moisture mean more comfort and less risk - helping to prevent skin irritations, rashes and even urinary tract infections commonly caused by invasive treatments and alternative toilet aids for disabled people.
- The ergonomic designed PVC collection cups for men and women (of all ages) provide complete comfort in a single-handed use.

How can UrAssist help in relieving enlarged prostate symptoms?
According to the American Urological Association (AUA), 50% of men aged 51-60 and 90% of men past the age 80 suffer from enlarged prostate symptoms.
The most common enlarged prostate symptoms are a frequent urge, urgency and a difficulty to urinate - the longer a man suffering from enlarged prostate symptoms delays voiding, the more difficult it will be to succeed in this fundamental task.
Ignoring these enlarged prostate symptoms by "holding it in" might cause further health complications such as urinary tract infections and even bladder stones and/or incontinence or acute urinary retention (lack of ability to urinate).
Therefore, it is recommended that men who suffer from enlarged prostate symptoms will not delay voiding and "go" as soon as they feel the urge.
UrAssist was invented, among others, to help prevent incontinence by providing a portable urine collection solution.
With UrAssist by their side, men who suffer from enlarged prostate symptoms can have immediate relief even while "trapped" in the middle of a traffic jam or where no proper facilities are available.

Welcome to the UrAssist online store - the urine collection system that adjusts to you instead of you adjusting to it.
The UrAssist is designed to provide freedom "on the go" and significantly minimizes limitations by enabling users - whether bound to motorized wheelchairs or limited by health conditions - not to rely on caregivers' assistance or on public facilities.
What is it?
UrAssist is a portable urine collection system equipped with a fluid pump and entirely packed in a black canvas case. UrAssist can be attached to all motorized wheelchairs, mobility devices and beds.
Convenient and discreet - UrAssist is an ultimate urine collection solution for men and women with limited accessibility to restrooms.
Who is it good for?
UrAssist is designed for men, women and children (over the age 5) with at least some control over their bladder and who can feel the "urge to go" but have limited accessibility to restrooms. It can assist the following:
- Motorized wheelchairs users and anyone who depends on the support of mobility devices.
- Men, women and children with a disabling condition (such as Multiple Sclerosis patients or at-risk pregnant women).
- Men who suffer from enlarged prostate symptoms.
- Men, women and children undergoing hospitalization.
- Men, women and children who are confined to a bed.

Features:
- UrAssist is a portable, non invasive and self-operated urine collection system.
- The system is entirely packed in a discreet "businesslike" black canvas case.
- The UrAssist includes a unique fluid pump that works a lot like a lavatory flush: while the user urinates into the collection cup, the liquid is drawn through a tube into a collection bag inside the case. The pump works efficiently regardless to the altitude in which the UrAssist is positioned on motorized wheelchairs.
- UrAssist can be attached to all motorized wheelchairs, mobility devices and beds.
- The collection tube is long enough to allow easy handling when the UrAssist is located on the arms of motorized wheelchairs.
- The collection bag has a capacity of 37 ounces (1.09 L) and is marked with graduated fill lines.
- Two designs of collection cups are available to perfectly fit men and women, both are specially structured to reduce spillage and odors.
(The collection cups are also suitable for children over the age 5).
- UrAssist is user friendly and operated by simple buttons and LED display.
- Special LED and "beeping" sound signals will indicate when the collection bag is nearly full and when the battery needs recharging (sound signals can be muted).
- Draining of the reusable collection bag is easily done in less than 30 seconds by a compactly stored high quality drain tube.
- The fluid pump automatically activates when the collection cup compartment door opens. A manual pumping mode, which is operated by a button, is also available.
- The fluid pump is operated by a low voltage rechargeable battery that only requires 2-3 hours of charging every 60 hours (the charger is included).
